HOW IT BEGAN

OVER 30 YEARS OF BEING IN THE TRUCK ACCESSORY BUSINESS.

The story of Minco Auto & Truck Accessories starts in Perry, Florida in 1996. Michael Mincy opened the first Minco truck accessories store, originally located in Perry, and eventually opening two more Minco stores in Panama City and Tallahassee. Several years later, Mincy sold his Minco stores, and in 2006, Mincy sold the Tallahassee store to Louis Theriot. In 2022 Louis sold Minco to the current owners Michael Free and Brent Merryman.

At Minco, our specialty is off-road, four-wheel drive suspension. Since our founding, we have lowered, lifted, or leveled over 3,500 pick-up trucks. We install pre-fabricated kits made by Rough Country, ReadyLift, Fabtech, Superlift, Skyjacker, Procomp, and dozens of others. However, we know more than just suspension. Over the years, we’ve replaced, modified, or repaired thousands of parts on hundreds of different makes and models.

WHAT WE DO

CUSTOM FABRICATIONS TO GET THE LOOK YOU WANT.

Recently, we’ve taken our fabrication department to the next level. With the help of a PlasmaCAM CNC plasma cutting table, we are able to quickly transform ideas on paper to finished products. Instead of plasma cutting designs in metal by hand, we now have the ability to lay a sheet of metal on our plasma table and let it do the work. This allows us to work much faster, too. A popular modification for lifting pick-up trucks is called a 4-link. This requires many shapes and sizes of gussets to be created from scratch. With our PlasmaCAM cutting table, we can lay a sheet of metal on the cutting table and come back when all the pieces are cut out.

There isn’t much we don’t do at Minco. We spray the best bed-liner coating on the market, Bullet Liner. We routinely install parts made by the biggest names in the automotive industry – such as American Force, Bestop, Bilstein, Flowmaster, K&N, Nitto, Ranchhand, Rancho, Retrax, Warn, Weathertech, and Westin.

Have a question? Ask us! Our passion is modifying cars and trucks, and we’ll strive to help you get your car or truck where you want it to be.
